The Iron Mule is New York’s longest-running monthly short film series, featuring the best in comedy films. Over a nearly 10-year run, the festival has screened more than 800 short comedy films of all types from across the world.
Filmmakers and fans gather on the first Saturday of every month at the 92YTribcea screening room for a night of shorts interspersed with filmmaker interviews by hosts and filmmakers Jay Stern and Victor Varnado. Each screening is followed by an after party where filmmakers and audience can mingle. The Iron Mule fosters a supportive community of writers, directors, actors, and producers, and encourages collaboration and conversation among filmmakers, comedians, and film fans.
